3 Booking & Payment
By registering for a tour through the online booking form and paying the required deposit, the rider offers NMT a binding agreement to conclude a travel contract. The contract enters into force upon confirmation from NMT.
- A deposit of USD 200 per person is required at the time of booking.
- The deposit secures a place on the tour.
- Spots on guided tours are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The outstanding balance must be paid 60 days before the tour start date, unless otherwise stated in the relevant tour description.
- If full payment is not received by the due date, NMT reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled and charge the applicable cancellation fee.
Important
If your full payment is not completed by the stated due date, NMT may cancel the reservation and apply the relevant cancellation charge as specified in these terms.
4 Changes, Replacements & Cancellation
Change of Package Tour
Package changes are possible only when slots remain available.
- Requests are free of charge if made 60 days or more before arrival.
- If the new package is priced higher (upgrade), the rider must immediately pay the difference.
- If the new package is priced lower, the price gap will not be refunded.
Change of Participant
Participant changes require NMT approval and the replacement must meet all participation conditions. Both the original and replacement participant are jointly responsible for outstanding payments and any additional transfer costs.
- Replacement is free of charge if requested 60 days or more before departure.
- A USD 100 administration fee applies if replacement is made 59 days or fewer before departure — please report to the help desk.
- If the driver and/or passenger is changed without notification to NMT, an additional fee of USD 500 will be charged.
Cancellation
In the event of a rider cancelling after booking confirmation, NMT reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee based on the time remaining before departure.
| Days Prior to Departure |
Cancellation Fee |
| More than 90 days |
USD 100 |
| 90 – 45 days |
50% of total order price |
| 45 – 15 days |
75% of total order price |
| Less than 15 days |
100% of total order price |
No exception to this policy can be made for any reason. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. NMT is not required to make refunds once the tour commences, regardless of the reason for the participant's inability to complete the tour.
Minimum Number of Participants
All tour packages have a guaranteed departure with a guide on a motorcycle. Tours will run with a minimum of 3 participants (3 riders).
NMT is not liable for additional costs or losses incurred by customers due to tour cancellation resulting from insufficient participants — including, but not limited to, prepaid airline tickets, hotel reservations, and vehicle rentals.
5 Insurance & Tour Prices
Insurance
All motorcycles are insured with third-party liability insurance and comprehensive vehicle insurance. The comprehensive cover includes a deductible, for which NMT takes a security deposit.
- A security deposit of USD 2,500 is to be paid at the time of order.
- This deposit will be reimbursed when the motorcycle is returned undamaged to NMT.
- Any damage up to the insurance excess will be deducted from the security bond.
- If the rider takes motorcycle damage insurance or full cover insurance, no deposit fee is required.
Standard Motorcycle Insurance
Included in the tour price. Covers total loss only upon touring commencement.
Full Cover Insurance
Motorcycle damage, personal accidents, and booking cancellation. Fee: to be confirmed.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

Tour Prices and Price Changes
Tour prices stated on the website and in literature are based on motorcycle selection and tour package. All riders shall pay the tour price according to the chosen motorcycle model. Passengers participating on NMT motorcycles pay the applicable passenger rate.
- Published prices are those in effect at the time of printing or publication.
- On rare occasions beyond NMT's control, prices may be revised up to 60 days before the tour commences.
- NMT reserves the right to correct typographical and calculation errors at any time.
6 Motorcycles, Damage & Support
Motorcycles
NMT provides motorcycles as part of the tour package. Images on the website or in literature may not always represent the exact version supplied. NMT will attempt to provide the requested model but reserves the right to substitute a comparable model due to uncontrollable situations, including technical defects, accidents, theft, or manufacturer delivery delays.
If a comparable model cannot be provided, a prorated refund for any model-rate difference will be issued. NMT will make every effort to contact the rider before any substitution. Most participants ride the motorcycle confirmed at the time of booking.
Motorcycle Damage
The rider is liable for all damage to the rented motorcycle, documents, parts, and accessories during the tour period — including theft, accidental damage, operational damage, improper use, and damage reducing the vehicle's value.
- Reasonable wear and tear is excluded from liability.
- Minor paint chips from gravel, stones, and insects are considered normal wear and tear.
- Scratches from accidents, dropping the motorcycle, or riding through bushes and off-road are not considered normal wear and tear.
- If NMT must recover the motorcycle due to rider-responsible damage, NMT may invoice USD 1 per mile for the recovery distance.
Taking out Motorcycle Damage Insurance or Full Cover Insurance is strongly recommended.
Supporting Vehicles
NMT provides a supporting mini truck during the tour. This vehicle carries a spare motorcycle, participant luggage, mechanical equipment, and a first aid kit, as well as experienced drivers, mechanics, and certified medical personnel.
7 Rider Rules, Health & Liability
Local Provisions
Riders participate in local road traffic on their own responsibility and are obliged to observe all applicable local regulations. Penalties, administrative fines, or damages to third parties resulting from non-compliance are borne entirely by the rider.
Health, Alcohol & Medicine
A good general state of health corresponding to the respective tour description is a prerequisite for participation. Riders who do not fulfil these prerequisites may be excluded from the tour — in whole or in part — without compensation claims against NMT. Consulting a doctor before the tour is strongly recommended.
- NMT may request a medical certificate if there are doubts about a rider's fitness.
- Alcohol, medicine, or other substances influencing fitness to drive are not permitted during riding hours.
- Alcohol may only be consumed after the day's motorcycle is parked for the night.

Risk and Title
All risks from the rider for loss, damage, accident, and death are the responsibility of the rider. Taking additional insurance beyond the coverage already included in the tour package is advisable.
Rider's Conduct and Liability
- Riders must not cause damage to natural surroundings or third parties through their actions.
- Riders must observe local traffic laws and follow the safety guidelines provided by the tour leader and NMT.
- If a rider repeatedly ignores rules or causes others to feel threatened, NMT reserves the right to remove them from the touring group.

- In case of non-compliance with alcohol or substance rules, NMT reserves the right to remove the rider from the group.
Liability Limitation
NMT, its owners, agents, and representatives are not guardians of the rider's safety. They cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence connected with tour activities that may result in injury, death, or other damage to the rider, their property, family, or heirs. NMT is not responsible for any damage caused to third parties due to the rider's activities during the tour.
8 Operations & Force Majeure
Delivery for Missing Items
Shipments left behind will be sent to the rider's home address at the rider's cost, plus a 20% handling fee.
Force Majeure
If the tour is affected by force majeure, NMT reserves the right to reschedule the tour, change itineraries, or make adjustments to hotels, cities, guides, and travel arrangements based on the situation at that time.
Force majeure includes but is not limited to: road closures or damage, unplanned hotel closures, natural disasters, adverse weather, floods, earthquakes, government policies (central or regional), strikes, casualties, war, or epidemics.
NMT will endeavour to avoid additional costs arising from force majeure. However, if unavoidable additional costs are incurred, the rider must bear those costs.

NMT will make every effort to follow the schedule, locations, routes, motorcycles, and hotels as per the offered package. If changes occur during the tour, NMT will review those changes.
- On downgrade conditions, compensation will be made through a reduction in payment.

Charges when placing orders online and/or transferring to NMT accounts follow the values on the website or transfer orders. Any cost difference due to a foreign exchange difference is not the responsibility of NMT.
9 Copyright & Miscellaneous
Copyright and Intellectual Property
Photographs or videos produced by NMT representatives during the tour are the property of NMT under copyright and intellectual property law. NMT is entitled to use this material for marketing and advertising, including images in which the rider is recognizable, without any cost owed to the rider.
Riders who submit their photographs or videos to NMT agree to allow NMT to use them for marketing and advertising. Photos and videos taken by the rider during the tour remain the rider's property, unless otherwise specified.
